PAS Giannina vs OFI Crete
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 1 December 2018
Kick-off: 18:30 CET
This can’t be happening to Sandi Krizman… The Croatian center-forward had spent some time on the sidelines, returned to action last weekend, scored both their goals, especially the second one was… spectacular, a career highlight, but on Thursday he didn’t feel well in training, had to leave early, and up until 24 hours before kick-off it was unclear if he would be available this weekend. PAS Giannina beat Levadiakos 2-0 a week ago, a deep breath that pushed them to 10 points. Still very low in the table, just 12th, but as I have been writing since the start of the season, their roster should have them much higher in the table, and I mean in the upper half, not within striking distance of OFI Crete, a team below the relegation line… Attacking midfielder Higor Vidal was expected to return to action this weekend, but same as Krizman, 24 hours before kick-off it was unclear if he’d be available.
For Aris’ fans, what happened last weekend in Iraklio was fantastic; they were losing 1-0, scored twice in added time, and won the game. For OFI Crete, what happened a week ago was anything between… ridiculous and unforgivable. The club president backed the coach and the players, publicly, but they know they’d better start delivering, or else their stay at the club won’t last past the coming month. OFI are also the only ones to have dropped points to Apollon Smyrnis (0-0 at home), a team that has one point from 11 matches. It’s a pity to see the club do so well administration-wise (new main shareholder, eager to spend money, getting former players, all well-respected in Crete, to help him out), but so poorly on the field, excluding that win over horrible – that day – Olympiakos… Coach Nikos Papadopoulos doesn’t have five players at his disposal. OFI asked for 200 tickets for this match, but both PAS and Giannina’s police denied their request.

PAS Giannina vs OFI Crete: Head to head Stats
PAS haven’t hosted OFI since 2014. Back then, they beat them 3-0, same a year earlier, 2-1, and also in 2012, 1-0.
PAS Giannina vs OFI Crete: Prediction
I don’t trust OFI to avoid defeat.
PAS Giannina vs OFI Crete: Betting Tips
The hosts’ win pays 2.00. OFI have scored two goals in their last five away games, Super League and Greece Cup combined, and one of those was from the penalty spot. Giannina’s clean sheet looks very probable to me, and pays 2.00, as much as their win.
