PSG vs Manchester United
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 6 March 2019
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
Kimpembe and Mbappé’s goals in Manchester, that 0-2 triumph, has made PSG huge favorites to qualify for the Champions League quarterfinals, despite the fact they are playing with Neymar, and were drawn against a rejuvenated – under Solskjaer – United. Paris Saint-Germain have played five matches since then, winning all five, conceding just twice, and scoring no less than 14 goals. They did suffer last weekend though, at Caen, where they had to come from behind to win 1-2, scoring twice in the last half hour. Mbappé scored both goals, with the winner coming in the 87th minute. He and Ángel Di María have scored most of PSG’s goals after their triumph in Manchester.
All went wrong for United in the first leg… They conceded twice, and just before the final whistle they saw Pogba get sent-off (second yellow card). It really feels they are left with a mountain to climb. Looking at how they have been doing under Solskjaer, you could consider them capable of scoring twice in Paris, but… avoid conceding? Then again, they did keep a clean sheet against Chelsea (2-0 win in the FA Cup), and even against Liverpool (goalless draw in the Premier League). In both those matches though, they were not… 0-2 behind in the score at kickoff. That’s a major-major difference… Last weekend they beat Southampton 3-2 at home, with Romelu Lukaku scoring the winner in the 88th minute. The Belgian scored four of their six goals this past week. First, he netted twice at Crystal Palace, last Wednesday, and then again twice versus Southampton on Saturday. United are fourth in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Arsenal and two ahead of Chelsea.

PSG vs Manchester United: Head to head Stats
The first leg in Manchester was the first ever game between these two.
PSG vs Manchester United: Prediction
I’m leaving PSG’s 1.50 aside, focusing on goals instead.
PSG vs Manchester United: Betting Tips
“Over 2.5 goals” pays 1.65, going up to 2.10 if combined with “both teams to score”. Actually, I would take an even bigger risk, going for “both teams to score and over 3.5 goals”, at 3.00. This is a game without tomorrow, so I expect more goals than in the first leg, hopefully more than three.
