Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona
Competition: Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date: 13 December 2018
Time: 20:00 CET
Real Madrid (W9 L2) bounced back after two consecutive losses in the Euroleague when they escaped Turkey with a win over Anadolu Efes. The match didn’t go well for them in the first half, where they were already down by seven. They were even down by 15 at some point but Real Madrid pulled themselves together in the final quarter and outscored their opponents by 8:24 to eventually win by 82:84. Gustavo Ayon dominated with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 10/11 shooting, while Llull returned with 12 points and 3 assists. Thompkins had 10 points with 5 assists and 4 rebounds, while Campazzo had 9 and Taylor had 8. Real Madrid have now won two in a row after three consecutive losses in all competitions. They are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Euroleague though, featuring the best offense with 89.6 points per game, while conceding 79.1 in the process. They will only be missing Kuzmic in this match.
On the other hand, Barcelona (W6 L5) met their second consecutive loss in the Euroleague last week, and their third in the last four. And what a loss it was, as Barcelona fell by a slim 67:64 on the road against Buducnost. Yes, the minnow team has done it again and this time it was Barcelona who were on the receiving end of it. It wasn’t a very pretty match but Barcelona were leading by two at the end of the first half. But Barcelona were struggling through the entire match and never really got it going in the second half, eventually losing that match by 67:64. Hanga scored 12 with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, Tomic had 10 with 6 rebounds and 3 assists, while Singleton had 8 points with 10 rebounds. Heurtel had 9 with 4 assists, Kuric had 8 ad Pangos only had 7 with a couple of assists. Barcelona are now barely hanging on inside the playoff spots, sitting at the 7th with an average of just 78.3 points per game, against 77.8 conceded.

Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona: Head to Head Stats
The two teams last met a couple of weeks back in the ACB, where Barcelona blasted Real Madrid by 86:69 at home. Last season in the Euroleague it was Real Madrid who won both matches, but Barcelona won all three matches for domestic competitions. Barcelona have won two of their last three matches in this venue but Real Madrid have been great here in the past eight (W5 L3).
Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona: Prediction
Barcelona have scored a mere 64 and 70 points in their last two away matches in the Euroleague, and had scored 76 in their match before that. They don’t score easily on the road lately and Real Madrid will destroy them if they see this weakness.
Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona: Betting Tips
Barcelona can only win this through scoring, and this means that if they win it will probably be a high-scoring match. That is why I will pick the Over 166.5 points here @1.83, but Real Madrid are more serious at home and can cover a -6.5 spread @1.85.
