Sevilla vs Slavia Prague
Competition: UEFA Europa League
Date: 7 March 2019
Kick-off: 18:55 CET
Sevilla earned two very… professional victories over Lazio in the round of 32, beating the Italian side 0-1 in Rome and 2-0 back home, in the return leg. Things have not gone well for them since then, though; 2-4 defeat at home to Barcelona (actually… mostly to Lionel Messi, who was incredible that day), and, last weekend, 2-1 loss at Huesca. They equalized in the 84th minute from the penalty spot, but conceded again in added time. Nolito and Sergio Escudero are out, injured. Franco Vázquez is also unavailable, due to suspension. The day before the game, Maxime Gonalons, Joris Gnagnon and Daniel Carriço were considered doubtful. Sevilla are expected to start with Vaclik, Gómez, Kjaer, Mercado, Promes, Banega, Mesa, Navas, Sarabia, Silva and Ben Yedder.
Slavia Prague gave their fans something to remember two weeks ago, not just qualifying past Genk in Belgium, but destroying them 1-4(!), despite going 1-0 down in the 10th minute. The first leg in Prague had ended in a goalless draw. Slavia equalized in the 23rd minute in Belgium, that 1-1 would have been enough for them to qualify (thanks to the away goal), but… they took perfect advantage of Genk’s risks (they needed to score, win), and ended up throwing a party, scoring three more goals between the 53rd and the 68th minute(!). Two more wins followed suit, both in their championship, by a total score of 7-0(!). They are leading, three points ahead of second-placed Viktoria Plzen. They have no players missing due to injury or cards. They are expected to start with Kolar, Coufal, Ngadeu-Ngadjui(!), Kudela, Boril, Husbauer, Soucek, Stoch, Traore, Zmrhal and Skoda (scorer of their last two goals in Belgium, two weeks ago).

Sevilla vs Slavia Prague: Head to head Stats
Sevilla have hosted Slavia once before, in 2007. Back then, they beat them 4-2.
Sevilla vs Slavia Prague: Prediction
Slavia have been looking great lately, Sevilla have lost two matches in a row, but no matter what, I expect the hosts to win.
Sevilla vs Slavia Prague: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Sevilla win pays less than 1.40, I would risk with the same combined with “over 2.5 goals”, at 1.97.
