Talleres Cordoba vs Racing Club
Competition: Argentina Superliga
Date: 4 December 2018
Kick-off: 01:30 CET
Talleres Córdoba played four games the last five weeks; in their two home matches, they drew without goals. In their two away games, they won, without conceding. That makes it four clean sheets in a row, and five in their last six games. Only super in-form Defensa y Justicia managed to score past them the last month and a half. Talleres are 11th in the Superliga table, on 18 points from 13 matches. They have two wins and three draws in their last five home games, in which they conceded just once(!).
Once again, Eduardo Coudet cannot count on 28-year-old center-forward Gustavo Bou. He didn’t play against Banfield last weekend, and for some unspecified reason he’s not available for this game either. It’s… weird that there was no official information from Racing. According to reports, he “doesn’t feel well”, but nothing more specific than that. Racing got stuck to a goalless draw last weekend, at home, but remain leaders, as Atlético Tucumán shot their own foot on Saturday, losing 2-3 at home to city rivals San Martín Tucumán, despite taking a 2-0 lead(!). They stayed two points behind Racing, having – now – played an extra game. Right-back Renzo Saravia is out, suspended. Iván Pillud is expected to start instead. Racing have lost just one game in the Superliga this season, and the… irony of the matter is that it was to San Martín Tucumán, the same team that made them a big gift on Saturday, beating Atlético Tucumán.

Talleres Cordoba vs Racing Club: Head to head Stats
Talleres haven’t hosted Racing since 2003. Back then, they beat them 2-0.
Talleres Cordoba vs Racing Club: Prediction
Racing were allowed to have fans of theirs on the stands in this match, the exception, and not the rule in Argentina (having visiting fans allowed inside stadiums). They are considered favorites to win the game, but Talleres are going through a good period, and I’m backing them to earn at least a draw.
Talleres Cordoba vs Racing Club: Betting Tips
The hosts’ double chance is at 1.66. For more than that, I would risk with draw alone, combined with “under 2.5 goals”, at 3.50. Another conservative approach is Racing’s “under 1.5”, at 1.50. Be reminded, Talleres have been fantastic defensively at home this season, conceding just once in their last five games.
