Tigre vs Huracan
Competition: Argentina Superliga
Date: 23 September 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
Big disappointment for Tigre last weekend, as they lost practically with their hands down at Atlético Tucumán. The hosts had a Copa Libertadores game coming up against Gremio, played with some reserves, but Tigre failed to control Luis Rodríguez. La Pulga scored all three Atlético Tucumán goals, two of those in the first half, and the most beautiful one in the 58th minute. It was Tigre’s first defeat of the season, after three draws and a victory at Aldosivi. Their situation in the “promedio” table remains… dire. As I’ve written before, Tigre need an awesome, absolutely awesome season to avoid relegation, and every single result matters.
Huracán played a great game last weekend to beat Banfield 3-0 at home, but the visitors missed a penalty early in the match, when there was still no score. No matter what, Huracán were better, and looking back at how the entire game went, they deserved all three points, no doubt. It was their second win in a row, after their 1-2 win at San Martín Tucumán. They are on eight points from five matches. They have already faced Boca Juniors and River Plate (drew with both at home, without goals). Actually, their only bad game thus far this season has been their 2-1 defeat at Aldosivi, in the second game week. Last but not least, they have kept a clean sheet in three out of their five matches (all three as hosts).

Tigre vs Huracan: Head to head Stats
Three Huracán wins and a draw in the four games between these two at Tigre the last three years. The hosts haven’t beaten Huracán at home since 2010.
Tigre vs Huracan: Prediction
Tigre are considered favorites to win. Personally, I would leave winners and losers aside, I would bet on goals.
Tigre vs Huracan: Betting Tips
“Over 2.5 goals” is at 2.40, and I like it because most games of both teams thus far have had several goals. “Over 1.5” is at 1.48, for the ultra conservative.
