Tottenham vs Bournemouth
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 26 December 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
Tottenham looked… scary last weekend at Everton. They went 1-0 down in the 21st minute, but by halftime, they were already 1-3 up, and ended up triumphing 2-6(!). Harry Kane scored twice, so did Son Heung-Min as well, with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen adding one each. It was a good weekend for Spurs, as both Manchester City and Chelsea lost, meaning that they are closer to the second spot now, and further away from fourth-placed Chelsea. They are expected to start with Lloris, Alderweireld, Foyth, Davies, Trippier, Winks, Eriksen, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas Moura and Kane. They have five wins and a draw in their last six games in all competitions, with that draw being the 1-1 at Camp Nou, against Barcelona, a result that was as good as a victory, as they still qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.
Bournemouth had lost their last two Premier League matches, plus, they had gotten eliminated by Chelsea in the League Cup, before hosting Brighton last weekend. The game was actually rather balanced, and the final 2-0 feels rather flattering for Bournemouth. Not that they didn’t deserve all three points, but that two-goal difference feels… rather excessive, given how the whole 90 minutes went. They are 8th in the table, on 26 points, one behind Watford, and three behind Manchester United. Most probably they will start the game with Begovic, Ake, Francis, Cook, Daniels, Lerma, Brooks (scorer of both their goals last weekend, one in each half), Stanislas, Surman, King and Wilson.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth: Betting Tips
A simple Tottenham win is at just 1.36. Combined with “over 2.5 goals” that goes up to 1.80, decent. Tottenham’s “over 2.5” pays 2.10, which feels quite probable, keeping in mind how they looked a few days ago, and also those seven goals that Bournemouth have conceded in their last three away games, with two of those being against rivals nowhere near Tottenham’s level.
