Tottenham vs Burnley
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 15 December 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
Lucas Moura’s goal in the 85th minute on Tuesday, at Camp Nou, earned Tottenham the point they needed to stay second in their Champions League group table, and qualify for the last 16. Last weekend they beat Leicester 0-2 on the road, taking care of things relatively early, having the score at 0-2 by the 58th minute. They are third in the table, six points behind leaders Liverpool, and five behind second-placed Manchester City. If there are no last-minute surprises, they should start with Lloris, Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies, Alli, Winks, Sissoko, Heung-Min, Lucas Moura and Kane. They have several guys with injury problems, Trippier, Foyth, Wanyama, Janssen, Lamela, Sánchez and Dembélé. Tottenham have played six matches at home in the Premier League this season, they have won four of those, but lost both to Liverpool and Manchester City, the teams above them in the table.
Burnley celebrated last weekend their first victory since September 30(!). James Tarkowski scored in the 40th minute and that goal proved enough to give them all three points at home versus Brighton. They are 17th in the table, on 12 points, right above the relegation line. Huddersfield, sitting 18th, are two points behind them. According to reports, Burnley will start the game with Hart, Mee, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Westwood, Taylor, Brady, Gudmundsson, Cork, Wood and Barnes. They have their own injury problems, but less so than Tottenham; Defour , Ward and Pope are the unavailable ones due to injury. Burnley have earned five points from their eight away games, thanks to two draws and a 1-2 victory at Cardiff, late September.

Tottenham vs Burnley: Head to head Stats
Four Tottenham wins and a draw in the last five games between these two with Spurs as hosts.
Tottenham vs Burnley: Prediction
Burnley’s double chance pays a spectacular 5.00, but I don’t believe in it/them.
Tottenham vs Burnley: Betting Tips
A simple Tottenham win pays less than 1.20.They scored six goals past Chelsea and Southampton in their last two home matches, and Burnley tend to concede a lot, so I think “Tottenham and over 3.5 goals”, at 2.10, is worth the risk. The hosts’ clean sheet is at 1.72 (Burnley have scored only in one of their last four away games).
