Tottenham vs Middlesbrough
Competition: Premier League
Date: 04 February 2017
Tottenham, along with the rest of the Top 9, bating Manchester City, will be furious at dropping points midweek and will instead be turning their attention to their weekend opponents for retribution, which does not bode well for Middlesbrough.
Spurs conjured up their second consecutive draw after taking second spot from Arsenal as they were held by the bottom of the log Sunderland in a dull 0-0 draw. It was not a good performance at all by Spurs who have worked hard to get to where they are in the log, and had other results been different they could well have fallen quite far down the log. Now, up against another team that is not exactly shining, they will be far ore focused and hoping to take maximum points as they try and chase down Chelsea who are still nine points clear.
Middlesbrough also managed a draw, as they are quite accustomed to doing, but there’s was more impressive as they held a determined West Brom side to a 1-1 stalemate at home. Renowned for their ability to frustrate other teams, but not so much to win, Middlesbrough are still low down the log in 15th despite climbing a place above Leicester City. They will really have to be at their best, or at least at their most frustrating, if they are to get any points off of Tottenham as Spurs will be rampant when they welcome Boro.

Tottenham vs Middlesbrough: Prediction
Spurs, despite a bit of a soft and shock draw to Sunderland, are still a team full of form, in fact that draw probably gave them a boost and a dose of reality so they will be more focused in facing a Middlesbrough team that can cause draws with ease. Expect Spurs to work hard, and to win, but it will be a close one again.
Tottenham vs Middlesbrough: Tips
Although Spurs have been full of goals recently, they will just be out for a win in this game, expect there to be a maximum of three goals, but more likely just one or two in the entire match.
