Tottenham vs Real Madrid
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 1 November 2017
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
Mauricio Pochettino didn’t like it when Pep Guardiola called Tottenham “the Harry Kane team” (a few weeks ago), he considered it a lack of respect towards the rest of the Tottenham players, but… “funny” how things turn, the English striker got injured in the 4-1 triumph over Liverpool right after their 1-1 draw at Real Madrid, and they lost both games without him. Obviously, Tottenham are more than Kane, but not even Pochettino can deny that the England international turns Spurs into a totally different team. Up until 48 hours before kick-off, it was unknown if Kane would be able to play against Real Madrid. Even if he does, it remains to be seen how… Kane he will be. In any case, Tottenham are big favorites to finish in the top-2, even if they lose this game. Last weekend they lost 1-0 at Manchester United, and are now third in the Premier League, eight points behind leaders Manchester City.
Real Madrid had not lost to a newly-promoted team in Spain’s LaLiga in 27 years(!). They did, last weekend, when they visited Girona, despite the fact that they took the lead early on, thanks to an Isco goal. They conceded twice in a matter of four minutes in the second half(!), and they lost the game 2-1, being left eight whole points behind leaders Barcelona. Zinedine Zidane says there is plenty of time left to turn the situation around, he’s obviously right, this is still the first half of the season, Barcelona won’t go on winning every single game in LaLiga, and in the meantime, Los Blancos want to take a… mini revenge over Tottenham, for dropping two points in Madrid, two weeks ago.

Tottenham vs Real Madrid: Prediction
Despite failing to beat Tottenham in Madrid two weeks ago, Real are considered clear favorites to pick up all three points in London. I have my doubts, but their win pays well enough to leave my doubts aside.
Tottenham vs Real Madrid: Betting Tips
Real Madrid’s win pays 2.05, and I consider it good enough to avoid risking further with special bets.
