Valencia vs Brose Bamberg
Competition: Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date: 1 March 2018
Time: 20:30 CET
Valencia failed to be competitive when they visited Greece last week, where they fell to Olympiacos Piraeus by 80:70. Their opponents had scored twice as many points in the first quarter (22:11), but Valencia made a strong comeback in the second quarter (18:28). Even so, the home team managed to hold on to their lead, and easily overcame Valencia with nice plays in the second half. San Emeterio was the best player for Valencia, who scored 19 points. Green scored 12 and Thomas scored 11, but no other player had more than 7 points in that match. Valencia are now sitting at the 13th spot of the Euroleague (W8 L15), with an average of 76.39 points per match, against 79.43 conceded. They have been really unlucky with injuries, as they are coming into this match without Diot, Van Rossom, Vives, Pleiss and Williams.
On the other hand we have Brose Bamberg, who totally destroyed the visiting Crvena Zvezda last week, by 86:62. The odd thing is that they were actually down by two points at the end of the first quarter, and were matched on scoring in the fourth (17:17). However, they did great in the second and third, especially in the third, where they scored 23 points, against just 9 conceded. An impressive feat indeed. Wright scored a game-high 21 points with 9 rebounds, Musli had a massive 13/13 doulbe double with rebounds, Staiger scored 12 and Rubit scored 10 in that match. They really needed that win, as prior to that they had four consecutive losses. Brose Bamberg are now sitting at the 11th spot of the Euroleague (W9 L14), scoring an average of 75.47 points per match, while allowing 78.86 in the process. The Germans are coming into this match with quite a few absences themselves, as Harris, Heckmann and Taylor have been ruled out, while Mitrovic is listed as questionable.

Valencia vs Brose Bamberg: Prediction
Brose Bamberg have been really weak on the road all season, and I would be really surprised to see them be competitive here. However, both teams are missing numerous players ahead of this match, and this is a recipe for disaster.
Valencia vs Brose Bamberg: Betting Tips
Both teams are having some injuries to deal with right now, and I feel that we won’t see a high-scoring match here. I will reluctantly go with the Under 156.5 points here @ 1.80.
