Valencia vs Krasnodar
Competition: UEFA Europa League
Date: 7 March 2019
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
Valencia’s 0-2 victory in Glasgow over Celtic in the first leg of the round of 32 simplified things for them, meant they didn’t need to… die trying to win the second game back home. They still won, but “only” 1-0, with Kevin Gameiro scoring in the 70th minute. Should be mentioned that Celtic lost a player to a second yellow card in the first half. After that, Valencia beat Betis at home in a Copa del Rey semifinal, qualifying for the final, where they will be facing Barcelona. Last weekend they beat Athletic Bilbao 2-0, again at home. It was their first win in five La Liga matches, having drawn in the previous four(!). They sit 7th in the table, a single point behind 6th-placed Sevilla.
For some reason, I believed in Krasnodar, I saw them earn a draw at Bayer Leverkusen two weeks ago (they had drawn 0-0 at home in the first leg), I saw them qualify, and those two, their double chance and their qualification (2.80 and 3.00 respectively) were my tips. They took the lead in the 84th minute, Leverkusen were left obliged to score twice, they did only once, in the 87th minute, and like that, Krasnodar kicked Bayer out. Last weekend they drew again, at Spartak Moscow, 1-1, a result that left them three points behind Russia Premier League leaders Zenit, who won their game. They have played four games on the road in the Europa League this season, they’ve beaten Akhisarspor, lost to Standard Liege and Sevilla, and of course drawn with Leverkusen.

Valencia vs Krasnodar: Head to head Stats
Valencia and Krasnodar have never played against each other before.
Valencia vs Krasnodar: Prediction
Unlike two weeks ago, this time I don’t see Krasnodar produce a surprise. I see them lose, and I won’t be surprised if that happens by two goals.
Valencia vs Krasnodar: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Valencia win pays less than 1.50, I would risk combining it with “over 2.5 goals”, at 2.22. “Valencia and over 1.5” is at 1.75.
