Valencia tried to be competitive last week against Crvena Zvezda, but they ended up suffering a bad loss by 106:90 in Serbia. Valencia were really competitive in the first half, as they were only down by two points at the end of the second quarter. However, they were really bad in the third quarter and the second half overall, and eventually met yet another bad loss. Martinez scored 22 points with 4 triples, Green and Sastre had 16 points aech, and Pleiss had 10 with 4 rebounds. That was also Valencia’s fifth loss in the last eight matches in all competitions. They are now sitting at the 14th spot of the Euroleague (W9 L17), scoring an average of 77.07 points per match, while allowing 80.15 in the process. Valencia will have a couple of injury concerns ahead of this match, as Diot and San Emeterio are injured.
On the other hand, Real Madrid had no problems against Olimpia Milano last week, whom they defeated by 77:88 in Milan. They quickly took control of the match, as they were already up by eight points at the end of the first quarter, and by twelve points at the end of the first half. They kept on pumelling their opponents, and eventually recorded a rather easy win. Ayon scored a team-high 15 points with 5 rebounds, while Campazzo was sensational with 14 points, 11 assits 6 rebounds and 3 triples. Carroll scored 12 and Taylor scored 10, with Randolph and Fernandez scoring 9 points each. Real Madrid have been really strong lately, as the have won four of their last five matches in all competitions. Valencia vs Real Madrid: Prediction
Valencia have virtually no chances to make the playoffs, but they do want to take revenge against a Real Madrid side who have defeated them twice already. Real Madrid will surely want to climb up the standings in hopes of a more favorable matching in the playoffs.

I will take the Over 162.5 points here, as Valencia might not be fully interested, but they will surely want to take revenge. Real Madrid are looking for a better placement in the playoffs, and they have been scoring a lot lately, despite the absence of some key players.
