Wisla Plock vs Sandecja Nowy Sacz
Competition: Poland Ekstraklasa
Date: 13 December 2017
Kick-off: 20:30 CET
Good job by Wisla Plock on Sunday, at Wisla Krakow, first scoring in their first real chance, and then keeping the hosts to nil, even though they did need a bit of luck as well. Second straight win and clean sheet for the Plock side, who finally got their act together, after a period of pitiful results. Only they and Jagiellonia Bialystok have six points from their last two games, and the fact that they are hosting one of the weakest sides of the league is an excellent opportunity for them to make it 3X3, just before the winter break. Furman didn’t start, Merebashvili was unavailable, goalkeeper Kielpin almost cost his team an unbelievable goal early in the game, but somehow things worked out for Wisla Plock, and if they had been a bit more… ruthless in the second half, they could have finished the game off without much stress in the last minutes.
Everything was even in Nieciecza on Friday when Sandecja Nowy Sacz hosted Jagiellonia Bialystok, the game looked perfectly set to end in a draw, but details deprived the hosts (since they cannot play at their stadium in Nowy Sacz, Sandecja are using Nieciecza’s home this season) from the point. Kolev’s penalty kick was poor, the ball just refused to go in after another Sandecja player… took the “rebound”, while Jagiellonia had taken their own penalty successfully a little earlier. Sandecja deserved something better, but when your best striker misses a penalty, you know it’s not your day. They are third-to-last in the table, having picked up just two points from their last six matches. They haven’t won since September 17(!).

Three wins for Wisla, one for Sandecja (eight years ago), and a draw, in the last five games between these two in Plock. Three of those five matches went over 2.5 goals.
Wisla Plock vs Sandecja Nowy Sacz: Prediction
Wisla Plock have back-to-back good games, while Sandecja look nothing like the team that impressed in the first month of the season. The hosts should win, scoring at least twice.
Wisla Plock vs Sandecja Nowy Sacz: Betting Tips
A simple Wisla win pays 1.95, which may be enough for some. Personally, I would risk with Wisla and over 2.5 combined goals, at 3.10, expecting the hosts to score at least twice, and maybe their goalkeeper to gift a goal to Sandecja.
