Wolves vs Bournemouth
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 15 December 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
Wolves took perfect advantage of the fact that Newcastle were left with 10 men last weekend, in the 57th minute. The score was at 1-1, Bournemouth saw their opportunity, and grabbed it, even in added time. Matt Doherty’s goal earned them all three points, their second – big – win in a few days, after that 2-1 at home over Chelsea. They have climbed up 10th in the table, on 22 points. If there are no last-minute surprises, they will start the game with Rui Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Saiss, Vinagre, Doherty, Ruben Neves, Helder Costa, Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez. Only Jonny Castro is injured. As hosts, before beating Chelsea 10 days ago, they had lost three games in a row, conceding either two or three goals in each match.
At halftime, last weekend, Bournemouth were still in the game, hosting Liverpool, losing “only” 0-1. Right after restart, they went 0-2 down, and Steve Cook’s own-goal in the 68th minute pretty much put the game to bed. They ended up conceding again, and losing 0-4. It was their fifth defeat in their last six matches. They had gone unbeaten for weeks, but once they started losing, they have looked almost incapable of… pulling the brake. Their only win the last month and a half has been a narrow 2-1 at home over below-the-relegation-line Huddersfield. They remain high in the table, 8th, on 23 points, thanks to their great start of the season. They are expected to start with Begovic, Daniels, Ake, Francis, Cook, Brooks, Fraser, Lerma, Stanislas, Surman and King. Three guys are out, injured, Lewis Cook, Dan Gosling and Adam Smith.

Wolves vs Bournemouth: Head to head Stats
Bournemouth beat Wolves 1-2 away from home in 2014. Before that, they hadn’t visited them since 1998, another 1-2 win of theirs.
Wolves vs Bournemouth: Prediction
Wolves have spectacular ups and downs as hosts, and the same stands for Bournemouth as visitors. That makes “reading” this game even tougher. All things considered, I’m backing Bournemouth to earn a draw.
Wolves vs Bournemouth: Betting Tips
I feel the visitors’ double chance is better value that Wolves’ win. It pays 1.85, and includes the result I consider most probable of all, draw.
