Zebre vs Ulster
Competition: Guinness Pro14
Date: 30 September 2017
Kick off 15:35 CET
Ulster are neck and neck with Glasgow, despite being in different conferences, as those two are the only ones who are unbeaten. With a trip to Italy awaiting the Ulster men, they will feel that they can make it five from five.
Zebre, to their credit, have broken their own duck as they managed to pick up a win after three consecutive losses, however, their win was against a team that is probably in a battle with Zebre for the wooden spoon – the Kings. The Kings showed they have a lot to learn at this level when they welcomed Zebre, a perennial struggler, and managed to still lose in South Africa by 26 points. Zebre had not won a game coming into this clash and fell – also in South Africa – to the Cheetahs the week before by 15 points. The Scarlets tore them apart in their only home game thus far by 31 points and the opening round saw them go down to the Ospreys. Even being back at home, Ulster will be a huge challenge for the small Italian side.
Ulster have always been a team full of promise, but they made it clear this year that they wanted to prove a point and they look like they are doing do. They are unbeaten and equal on points with Glasgow – also unbeaten in the other pool. They have had a few easy games along the way, but they have also downed the defending champions, so it is a well rounded display. The began by beating the Cheetahs easily in a 23 point victory before two consecutive even point wins against very different teams in the Scarlets and Treviso – but the Italians were away so that explains it. Then their latest game was their biggest winning margin as they downed the Dragons at home easily by 27 points.

Zebre vs Ulster: Head to Head Stats
In recent times there has only been one instance that Zebre can be proud of in this fixture, and that was the game they won against Ulster in 2014. Other than that Ulster have won all the games these two have played. The last game they won by 47 points.
Zebre vs Ulster: Prediction
Zebre have been a little better than they usually are, however, they are still a bottom ranked team, and even at home, going up against Ulster, they will not be good enough for a win. They home advantage will take the sting out the Irish side, but it will still be an easy win for Ulster.
